Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana was started from 2015 to be completed in 2022 to provide homes to those who can’t afford to live on their piece of land. An individual can apply for a loan under PM Awas Yojna in any nationalised bank. Some private banks like ICICI and Axis banks can also provide loans under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna. All the banks have different rules to give loans under this housing scheme.
Apply for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna
An application form along with a declaration form should be filled for applying for the loan under PM Awas Yojna.
The primary step is to complete an online application form, and once the details are verified, the person is considered eligible for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna.
Adhaar card is the necessary document to fill the PM Awas Yojna Form online.
Along with the adhaar number, the details of your savings account and household income affidavit is also mandatory to fill PM Awas Yojana form online.
Visit the link http://pmaymis.gov.in/ and click on citizen’s application menu.
When you open the link, you will find a citizen assessment where you have to choose one of the two options-For slum dwellers or Benefit under other three components. If you are living in a slum area, then you should select the previous option otherwise choose the second one as the benefit under the other three components.
A new page will open displaying some columns to be filled up with personal details including state name, district name, marital status, etc.
When you complete the application form, click on save, and you will receive a system generated application number. Finally, take out the print out of the application form for future use.
You can track the status of your application on this website and can also edit or update the details filled in the application form using the application number and adhaar number.
The application form can be filled through common service centres also.
